Hosting

The website is served by Cloudflare, Inc. (101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA). When you visit, Cloudflare processes technically necessary data such as your IP address, the time and the requested page in order to deliver the site securely (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Cloudflare is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

Contact form and contact by email

When you write to me through the form, your name, email address, occasion and message are forwarded to me by email so I can answer your enquiry (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Nothing is stored on the website itself. I keep the email as long as needed for the enquiry and any resulting booking, and as required by statutory retention periods. The same applies when you email me directly.

Spam protection (Cloudflare Turnstile)

To protect the form from spam I use Cloudflare Turnstile, which sends technical data about your browser to Cloudflare to check that the request comes from a human (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. Email me at hi@johe.photo. If you believe the processing of your data violates data protection law, you can complain to the Austrian Data Protection Authority (dsb.gv.at).
